Hugo is a Managing Director of Gresham's corporate advisory business.
Hugo has been involved in numerous M&A transactions and financing deals. Recent mandates have included advising: Bain Capital on the acquisition and subsequent sale of Estia Health; TPG on the acquisition of Lynch Group; Lendlease on its sale of Keyton to Aware Super and APG; Journey Beyond on the acquisition of Voyages Group; TPG on the acquisition of Five Good Friends; and Quadrant on the sale of myHomecare.
Other roles have included advising: Coffey International on its take-private by Tetra Tech Inc; Wattyl Limited on its take-private by Valspar Corporation; Resimac on its merger with Homeloans; Quadrant on the sale of Zip Water to Advent International; David Jones on its take-private by Woolworths Holdings; and Lendlease on the sale of Primelife to Archer Capital.
Prior to his time with Gresham, Hugo worked in London and Sydney for Goldman Sachs in their Corporate Finance team.
Hugo studied at the University of Edinburgh and received First Class Honours in Civil Engineering.
