Georgia joined Gresham’s legal department as Senior Counsel in 2021 and provides legal, compliance and governance support to the Gresham Group.
Prior to this, Georgia was a solicitor in the Corporate and Funds practice at Herbert Smith Freehills and advised on a broad range of corporate transactions, funds management, mergers and acquisitions and other investment structures. Georgia’s experience also includes a period spent offshore as in house counsel in the energy technology sector, where she provided legal oversight of the business’s operations in the United Kingdom, Switzerland, USA, Czech Republic and Australia.
Georgia brings an extensive range of capabilities to the Gresham Funds Management businesses – spanning the establishment of, investment in, and transactions across, a broad range of fund structures.
Georgia holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Sydney and a Bachelor of Arts (Honours Class I), Political Science and Government from the University of Tasmania.
Georgia is admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of New South Wales and is entered on the Register of Practitioners of the High Court of Australia.
